Brasil drop 3 stars for coap america

3 brasilian stars recently requested to be dropped from this years copa america.
Ronaldinho , Kaka and Lucio have all requested to be left out of their national sides in the biggest tournament in south america. Brasil historicaly have not been the dominant figure in this tournament and some might think that these players may be concerned of critisism if they don't win after their dissapointing performance in the past world cup.
the tournament has been dominated by the river plate, with uruguay and argentina each hoisting 14 cups. after the drop in these key figures Argentina must be concidered the favourites to take the cup in Venezuela this year.
this could seriously damage the tournaments publicity as it is already ignored in europe where some argue that the euro is the most competitive tournament in the world. My opinion is that its an embarrasment to be asked to be left out of your nations side.

Well Ronaldinho and Kaka are completely exhausted, that's why they've asked to be dropped. Crespo is a squad player at Inter now, and he hasn't been playing every game, and Inter haven't gotten far in the Champions League in either of the last two seaosns. He has Zlatan, Adriano and Julio Cruz in the squad, and gets plenty of rest.
Last season Kaka reached the semis, and Ronaldinho reached the finals, they both played till the QFs at the World Cup, and then have carried their club sides this year, Kaka going all the way to the finals of the CL (and he started the season early as well since Milan had to go through qualifiers). When you look at what has happened to Henry and Gallas, you can understand that these two are probably just knackered.
Agreed. The 3 players that requested to be left out of Copa America clearly show they are in it for the money. Since Brazil economy is not as great as the eropean market they rather play where the moneys at. What a shame.
Well Pupi Zanetti wants to play at the Copa and Messi will surely be there along with Ayala. Ayala and Zanetti should be dead tired but they believe in the shirt.

I am all hand for your opinion. I think it is not right attitude to this the FIRST international challenge at all, from Brazilian side, they underestimate this tournament ufairly. It is good opportunity for them to retake their reputation after WC2006 failure, or they think acheiving title without the strongest side like in 2004. I think they were just lucky in the 2004 final. History doesnt repeated too often, does it?
I totally agree with you here. Where is the heart? Look at Crespo he is dying to play at the Copa. Very sad.
