Agent Approves AC Milan Interest In Luis Fabiano

Luis Fabiano’s agent, Jose Fuentes is aware of the Rossoneri’s interest in his client, but his phone still waits for a ring.

The agent knows Milan are interesting in his client but he has not received any phone call from Via Turati. Fabiano is an alternative to Wolfsburg Edin Dzeko who is very unlikely to arrive to Milan, with Arsenal’s Emmanuel Adebayor.

Galliani revealed that he already asked Arsenal for their Togo star but it seems that the things with Fabiano are going much slower as the agent of the 28-years-old Brazilian has yet to be phoned by Milan.

“I know about Milan and Galliani’s interest, but I have not had any official contact with them. I have heard the news on the radio and in the papers, but there has not been any official request,” Fuentes told Sky Sport Italia.

Fuentes said that Milan are not the only team Fabiano is interesting to join to, but they lead as his client dreams about playing for AC Milan. “Like Manchester United and Barcelona, Fabiano would join the Italian side.

“Any footballer would be happy to join such a major club. Milan are a major world club,” he added.

Fabiano’s agent compares his client to some of the biggest footballers around, such as Ibrahimovic, Villa and Adebayor. “He is on the same level as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, David Villa and Adebayor,” the agent said.

By showing his client uncertain future, the agent said: “At the moment he is a Sevilla player, but I cannot say that he will be there next season.”

The agent said before that Milan cannot afford the amount the player’s buy-out is require, surrounded the €30m (£25.4737225m). The agent has confirmed this amount.

“€30m? Yes, that’s correct. The club would have to spend that amount to sign the player. I don’t think Sevilla will sell him for anything less,” added the agent.
