Back To Homeland

Sunday, 21 June 09, 12:46 PM · Comments (3)

The Rossoneri futuristic playmaker, Ronaldinho, is leaving Milan at 2011. Perhaps for a Brazilian club.

Dinho is not the first man who does a move like that – coming back to home. Many players in the history has came back to what they call ‘home’, to play once again in their first club, the place they grew at, and etched their personality in.

This kind of move mostly caused by several reasons, players like Ronaldinho who were great in the past (three years ago) and then just dropped out, wants to get back to themselves. Dinho was Barcelona’s one of the best players on the pitch in every match you can tell (which he was on the pitch), but his problematic personality made him to fall. The second reason is to retire in a peaceful place, where your family is living and all you know is there. Many players in the past came to their homelands to retire in the club they first played at, before moved away to other continents.

The classic example to players who come home after all those years away is Flamengo’s Adriano, Inter-ex who played for the Blue & Black almost nine years, well not consecutively. Adriano has a big problem with alcoholic beverage – he loves it. Adriano had some sallies to Brazil during the time he was at Inter and every time he came back, he was more than good, he was fabulous. The problem is, he was that good only for few months and could not provide the same quality in every match. Now, he is back to his home – Brazil, to play at Flamengo, who were … not so shocking but …  his youth team. Would he retire or would go back to Inter for a three month of quality?

I do not know much but I know another Brazilian striker who done what Adriano did, come back to Brazil. Well, it is his first time doing it and he did not come back to his youth club. Unlike [and like] Adriano he played in Serie A, but for Milan [also for Inter]. Then, when his quality dropped out, he decided to move to Corinthians, which is a Brazilian club. Ronaldo is doing well, I can tell, but he does not have much competition, I believe. Like David Beckham at Galaxy, he is the best one. Ronaldo is one of greatest [Brazilian] strikers in the history of football but when he felt little dizzy, he decides to eat … a lot. If Adriano likes alcoholic drinks, Ronaldo loves anything with food. Would he come back to the big Europe or to any different continents or he will just retire?

Dinho might be another Brazilian player to come back to Brazil. Ronaldinho is seem to enjoy the life with Milan, but his brother and agent Roberto De Assis hints that Ronaldinho might be go back to Brazil in two seasons, for Gremio as the first option. “Ronaldinho to Gremio in 2011? Yes, why not,” said the player’s representative to GloboEsporte. There is a lot of time left for make this deal through but the agent is working for make this deal possible. Gremio president says Ronaldinho will be welcome in his club and the door is always open for him. But I want to know, why … why he wants to leave in couple of seasons. What is the reason: retire or back to what he was. If anyone has an explanation for that, tell me. Dinho suppose to be Milan’s future playmaker, but only for two seasons? De Assis claim this all thing is undecided yet and there is a lot more to talk, but “Who wouldn’t like having Ronaldinho in the team?”

Would we see Dinho wears light blue & black in couple of seasons? The answer will reveal apparently, in two seasons.

* I named only Brazilian players because that is all I know. If anyone has a comment or addition about it, I would love to here.
