Hello Ladies and Gentleman-Welcome to my first attempt at a Blog
After spending a lot of time boring the hell out of my mother and friends with my endless comments about the EPL and my favorite teams, Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United, I have decided to give them a break and unleash myself upon all of you (However many that may be) by creating this blog. I will start this blog by just introducing myself, my name is Mike D,I am 23, I was born in Blackburn,England and I currently live in the second smallest state of the USA, Delaware. Sounds exciting huh?
Afraid not, it is quite boring living here when all of your favorite things are 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in my homeland of England such as fish and chips, good beer, good people, and most important of all EPL Football. I have always been a fan of football but just recently I have had the ability to follow an entire season of football. The years before last I was lucky to see 10 games a year or to catch a goal or two on ESPN. The state of football coverage here in the U.S. is terrible. But through the murky mists of the NFL,MLB,NHL, and Nascar came a beacon of hope called the Fox Soccer Channel. I was in a state of shock as week after week I was able to watch a weekly portion of 3-5 games. I was able to follow injuries and transfers, wins and loses, stories and scandals. This has inspired me to take a closer look at my favorite teams and players and to start creating my own ideas of what a great team should or could be. Hopefully in the following blogs I will be able to express some of my ideas and insights on the state of the game and the clubs I so deeply admire.
In the next blog I will start to talk about the supposed and real transfers associated with the Rovers and Magpies, and how these transfers will effect or improve the teams.
Now as a final word I would like to say how great it is that there is a website such as OleOle.com that would allow a normal joe such as myself to create this blog and chat with other fans of football. Also I would like to say that while I hope I know alot about the current state of the Rovers and Magpies, I will admit that I actually know very little of the history behind the clubs and the people of the cities they play in. I would love to hear from the fans that live in Blackburn or Newcastle or any of the fans of these clubs around the world. I Hope everyone is having a great weekend and that you are all biting your nails such as myself in the anticipation of the coming season. Goodbye-Mike D

Hello. I dont like Blackburn or Newcastle but I like football in general be it English, Italian, Spanish or any other. My favourite is the Italian league. I watch the Premiership on T.V so this blog

If you are English and from Blackburn, then why/how are you a Newcastle fan as well? Irritating questions aside, welcome to OleOle! I'm glad you like the site, and we're glad to have you here too.
Don't forget about forums to discuss stuff, and give feedback etc, and remember, there's loads more stuff on the way.
