United arrive to play Aalborg tonight in a collectively unfamiliar position.
The fans and the team like to think of ourselves as the Kennedy family of football - lurching either between magnificence (Moscow, Barcelona, Solskjaer's goal against Bordeaux) or abject collapse (Glazer's, Kieran Richardson, Liam Miller etc...)
At the moment United and its fans arent sure whether to be happy or sad - our season so far hasnt been a huge disappointment but we have at times shown a lethargy that might suggest a Champions Legue hangover...
So after a fairly lifeless performance against Villareal, tonight's game takes on an importance that goes beyond the group stages. If we win and BerbaKing serves up a whopper it might kick start our season. Anything less and we might be fucked. Let's just hope Carlos fucks up on his own again and has to come back to United for a third time. We might just need him....
A meandering spazz of Manchester United-related information and opinion.
