Morning all,
hard to say that Spain didn't deserve that last night, particular given the way Fabregas came on and inspired the team. Villa's injury should see him start the final which is a good thing for football purists - he's been fantastic whenever he's played.
What do you think? Were you as disappointed in Arshavin as some of the emailers to the Eurocast today? Was he found wanting when the stakes were high?
Your thoughts welcome in the comments, as always. No predictions for the final yet - there's another post to come to do that and hopefully a preview show before Sunday. Your thoughts via email or voicemail are more than welcome for that. Don't be shy.

grazie a tutti guys, made my day again now i can probably cope without "Funkgrass" abit longa...
it's awesome to see spain playing against germany in the finals. i'll support the spanish team the best i can and take my shirt and flag to the public viewing ;)
actually i live in germany, my dad and me and other parts of my family are italian but i also have spanish people in my family and my girlfriend is half spanish (her dad is)
Fabregas should start, look at everything he's done every time he's on the pitch. He is a game breaker. It''ll be a great final too, and if Germany plays catch up like they did with Turkey, Spain will be champions of Europe!
I almost forgot, two teams that are playing with an attacking force, let's say 4-3 final. Spain.
Final: Spain Wins! All the way! Germany is a tough, tough team to beat, but... Italians did it in 1982. Brazilia 1994. Even Czechoslovakia did it in 1976 (listened on the radio in USSR. Me and Dad...)
Viva Spain!!!
Most important - it's not fuc*ing russian sh*thead motherfu*ker cun*s!!!!!

We're all gay for Cesc Fabregas
For Cesc Fabregas
For Cesc Fabregas...
I thought the first goal was a shot too.
Anyway, not sure I'll access the interweb during the week-end, although I should be back just before the final, so I'll put my prediction in early.
Germany 3 - 2 Spain (aet).
That should be the kiss of death for Germany....
