Torres is an excellent player, he's young and has a big talent but there is a problem with spanish players they can't adapt with the british football, that's why i think that since benitez came,
liverpool was not able to fight for the league, there was still more than 20 points from the 1st! but at the same time the reds were great in the champions league! so with the nino may be they will
win the champois league but for the primer it gonna be hard!

He's a big gamble and with that price tag you better hope that he delivers. 20 million pounds is not pocket change. Personally, considering what he has done, he's not worth it. I think he's a good
player but overrated.

I'm worried about how much we paid for him and that his reputation might be bigger than his talent but I'm glad the board has backed Benitez. It does put more pressure on the manager to win the title
this season. He can't make excuses about not being given money now.

I think it will probably take El Niño a year to fully adapt. If he scores around 15 goals in the league I'll be pleased. His birthday is in March so he's just gone 23. I feel that he's young enough
and talented enough to improve and adapt in England. Much of his time at Atletico, he's had to play as a lone striker and this season he had to play on the left wing. Given superior service, players,
coaching at stability at Anfield, he should improve. I don't think the fee is a huge gamble. £20m - £4.5m for Garcia puts it at around £15.5m. That's less than Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves or Bent and
half a Shevchenko.

Both Ballague and Graham Hunter have said that the fee is £20m.

Honestly, I think Liverpool payed a little too much for him. He's a phenomonal player, no one can doubt that, but the guy never even scored any more than 20 goals in a season for the Atleti. But,
that doesn't matter any more because his Spanish Primera days are over(at least for now)and his EPL days are going to begin soon. Personally, I hope he has a great time with the Reds and that he gets
along well with Stevie Gerrard because Torres isn't going to be the captain no more! Farewell El Niño!

el nino is young, fast, athletic and can burn defenders with his pace and game smarts. the mighty reds are going to have a mighty year in the prem this season, although not just one player makes this
happen, i think torres is gonna need some time to adjust but i know he will live up to his expectations. its normal for us to worry about a huge 20 million dollar signing for someone that has never
played in the prem but not to worry fellow reds fans torres will pull through along wit babel and voronin, WALK ON U MIGHTY REDS WALK ON!!!!!!!!!!!
