Premiership predictions

Monday, 23 April 07, 06:11 PM

So on the last podcast we did some Premiership predictions. Who got the most right? Let's see.

Bolton v Reading - I, John Johnson, went for Reading. Tom Thom(p)son said Bolton. Wooo, I'm one up.

Charlton v Sheff Utd - I went for Charlton, he went for Sheffield United. They drew. It stays 1-0.

Fulham v Blackburn - We both went for Blackburn. This was a draw as well. Still 1-0 to me.

Liverpool v Wigan - We both went for a Liverpool win. 2-1 John Johnson.

United v Boro - Both went for United. It was a draw. Still 2-1.

Spurs v Arsenal - We both went for a score draw, but 1-1. Still, that's good enough. 3-2 John Johnson.

Watford v Man City - I went for City, he went for Watford. They drew.

West Ham v Everton - I went for the Hammer, he thought Everton would win. He was wrong. 4-2 to me. Yeah!

Villa v Portsmouth - "0-0", he said. "You'll never get a 0-0 with a Harry Redknapp team", I said. Doh. Prediction of the week goes to Tom Thom(p)son. He still only gets one point for it. 4-3 to me.

Newcastle v Chelsea - We both went for Chelsea, it was another 0-0.

So there you go. The first round of predictions sees me as the winner and Tom as the complete and utter loser, which is just like real life really.

More predictions on this week's podcast but for now the overall score is:

John Johnson 1-0 Tom Thom(p)son.
