Hello Twifters,
football is much better this week than last week. For me anyway. Tom is somewhat unhappy at Liverpool losing to Spurs (again) but reckons he has discovered the worst player playing in England at the moment. Besides that we've got:
So, plenty to get your teeth into. And by teeth I mean ears.

Happy footballing Thursday to you all and welcome to another The Week in Football. On a personal level it's been a bit of crap week as far as football is concerned. But then you can't enjoy the good times as much unless you go through the bad, right?
On this week's show there's much to get through, such as:
And there's loads of other great stuff in there too. Well, maybe not loads. And maybe it's not great, but it's definitely stuff.

'Football is a funny old game', someone once said. Well, I'd like to find that person and stick a hammer up his arse and see if he still finds it funny when your team lets slip a two goal lead with just minutes to go. I realise the two things are barely related but there you go.
On this week's podcast we have the following for your aural delectation:
So, action packed as always.

Good day to you all, hope this finds you well and full of the joys of football. Well, some of you, at least. Ok, I think that only applies to Hull fans.
Nevertheless it's an action packed podcast this week despite we're in the middle of the 45th international break of this season so far. Coming up on this show:
And there's the usual Premier League guff in there too, as well as some sensible words from Rio Ferdinand. No, really. The world's gone mad, I tell you.

Good day to you all, hope you've had a good week in football since the last one. I haven't really. I went to see Arsenal play Hull and we lost. To Hull. At home. And we were utterly poo.
Still, there was plenty of beer and rum to banish the memories. Although the beer and rum would have been nice during the game too.

No doubt you've all been as tired as we have of the internationals but be tired no longer. They're over!
That doesn't stop us waffling about them a bit in this week's show with thoughts on a Theo Walcott inspired England, Ireland under Trappatoni and more.
We look ahead to the start of the Champions League next week, touch on the Rebrov comments, plus, as usual, we preview and predict the weekend Premier League fixtures, the most high profile of which is Liverpool v Man United. Does Tom think Liverpool will win? Is he cacking his pants because of Rafa's poor record against United? You'll just have to listen to find out.
