Real Madrid have rejected a last Chelsea bid for Robinho according to the Spanish press. Real chairman Ramon Calderon declared on Thursday that the Brazilian forward would stay at El Santiago
Bernabeu this season, after he was not allowed to seal a big money transfer to Chelsea. Robinho was desperate to secure a deal with The Blues, with chief executive Peter Kenyon offering him much
better conditions at Stamford Bridge. It had even been claimed by the Spanish press that the player’s shirt was for sale on Chelsea’s official website on Thursday, before being quickly removed.
Los Merengues are believed to have refused a £26 million bid for their star man, and Robinho himself has been ordered by his employers to apologise to the fans for publically asking to move on.
Robinho trained with Real on Friday and Chelsea face a real race against time if they are to resurrect the deal before Monday's deadline. The exciting player took part of Real’s training session
on Friday morning, which means he is not in London to discuss terms with The Blues.
