Manchester City vs Fulham 3-0 highlights 2012 : Manchester City suffered suffered a disappointing January and the Italian coach revealed it was important for his team to recover with victory at the Etihad Stadium. This fixture with Fulham was another small piece of encouragement. Manchester City took the lead after 10 minutes when Aguero struck his 18th goal of the season from the penalty spot after Chris Baird tripped Adam Johnson. The loss of Bobby Zamora was equally difficult with Clint Dempsey offered little support in attack as Fulham appeared second best long even before Aguero's early spot kick. Argentina international Aguero then flicked on Aleksander Kolarov’s cross for Johnson to fire in the second via the hapless Baird. And it proved to be a comfortable victory when striker Edin Dzeko scored the third goal after 72 minutes.
