REF ruining the semi

i was really looking forward to watching the all south american semi-finals in the u-20 world cup but the stupid ref ruined the game. Horrible decision by the referee and the red cards killed the game that had the potential in skill n talent to be a classic. But the stupid ref ruined this game by giving a red card very early in the game and making the wrong calls mostly against CHILE... Y are these refs in charge of such an important game

just came from the chile vs nigeria game... wat a game... chile for sure has a bright future and in my option a top 10 team in the next 5 years with the likes of vidal, sanchez, isla and vidangossy

Yeah, I agree. The red cards and the fighting/arguing was really taking away the good football and the fact that we were watching the WORLD CUP! Maybe FIFA should let Horacio Elizondo ref the final
of the U-20 WC. He was the ref of the FIFA World Cup Final in Germany last year. Horacio was the ref that sent Zizou off a couple of minutes before the penalty shoot-out.
I agree also. The officiating reminded me of the Croatia vs. Australia and the Netherlands vs. Portugal matchups in the opening round of the World Cup last year. Completely inconsistent. I'm
surprised I never heard anything on the feeds of penalizing the referees for their incompetence, tossing cards as if they were confetti.
