Hello fellow Madridistas ,

 Due to international fixtures , news from Valedababes was few and in between . Yet AS and Marca done what they do best , speculate that is of whom shall  be the next promised signnings . 

Crespo , the 33 year old Inter-Milan forward who is out-of favor at the Italian Capital club is rather the best candidate to join the Whites , a claim further enhanced by his agent . 

 Hernan Crespo , an explosive striker and a natural born consistant player and I believe he is the ideal answer to the gap left by V. Nistelrooy yet because of his age ... no more than 8 mill should be spent on him or we should bring him on a loan spell . Anyways I'm excited about the prospect of seeing him at the Bernabeu !

 Another quality player whose name being thrown in the mix is Russian player arshavin. I think that dude is the more realistic target that Real should focus on . He's 27 , he's talented and he is also consistant , Arshvin should serves us 3-4 years . The only drawback that he can not play in the Champions League this year but that might be solved as there could be a rotation between him and Robben . He should come in with a 20-30 mill transfer which is not that much considering the talent on hand . 

On a side note , Ruben De La Red is said to be back in training after the medical staff cleared him after suspesion of him having heart problems . This is great news as we really in need of any players at this vital stage of the season .

The sporting director of Real Madrid Pedja Mijatovic called earlier today for a press conference with the media speculating possible sacking of Bernd Schuster , manager of out of form Real Madrid but it was still clear afterwards that the management still got faith in its manager .He added that the team will be active during the winter transfer period too ...

Pedja Mijatovic sent a message " peace, stability and calm" to fans of Real Madrid everywhere stating that " we can finish the year with a title " and the campaign is still not finished and there is still room for improvement in the League and also Champion League . Pedja dismissed the elimination for the King's Cup stating that you cant be successful if you don't taste failure .

He stressed that the managment have full support of all the staff and players of the club adding there is no need to panic and the team is not under a crisis . 

Pedja called upon hard work , consistency and focus stating that the team already been through harder patches and they can come upon as winners .  

Mijatovic said that he has a good relationship with Bernd and he still has confidence in him as does all those at the club and he is sure that Bernd is able to be successful at the club and bring greatness to Real Madrid , whose " One of Europe's finest "  .

Van Nistelrooy and De La Red long absence made it impossible not to obtain one or two significant signings in January .  Pedja went on with the Ronaldo saga and stated that the team still aspires to sign the player and that he has some targets and still looking for players capable of being a match winners  

 Mijatovic continued by saying that no single player is the problem when asked if Raul is creating  problems within the club , Pedja said that it is rather the opposite and Raul is one of the reasons for the success of the club . 

Finally he wished Bernd Schuster & the players luck and thanked the fans for their unconditional support and love .

After a disappointing week , Real Madrid's internationals will join their respective teammates for their international duties . 

 Spain:

 Iker Casillas the  out of form Spain captain  will guard the Spaniards goal in the encounter against Chile on Wednesday 19 November . He will be joined by haywired Sergio Ramos , who can do good for his team . 

The Netherlands :

Basically the midfield of Real Madrid will move to Holland when Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart join their countrymen to face none other than Sweden in Amesterdam Arena . the ever very fast  Royston Drenthe will join the under 21 team at Mandemakers Stadium with the Under-21 team.

Italy : 

Fabio Cannavaro is joining the Azzurie for their game against Greece in Athens 

Brazil : 

Marcelo made the brazil line up for the game against Portugal , so we have a Marcelo/Pepe encounter on our own ! 

Portugal :

Recovering Pepe will join Portugal to face Brazil . 

Argentina : 

The legendary controversial Diego Armando Maradona added Gago and Gabrial Hienze for his first ever line up as the manager of the Tango Dancers  .

Atrocious Performance , odd lineup & mediocre players 

 Bernd Schuster was yet again able to completely ruin my day with his out of this world decisions . Real Madrid deservedly lost to a much , much better team Real Valladolid .  You guys must understand  , Schuster is not the only one to blame here ,  Its the god awful Calderon who wasted this season with his stubbornness , it is also Pedja Metajovic who honestly doesn't know a dime about football . I dont think that sacking Bernd  Schuster is the best solution because after all we  dont want a new manager every fucking season .. we need consistency and that cant be achieved with a new manager every bloody season

Awful Performance ... Ecentric Schuster

 I thought Schuster would fail to surprise me this one time given that it was a very important match for the man , but he actually did , he fielded one of the strangest lineups I've ever seen in my whole life . 

Casillas started as always with Ramos, Cannavaro, Marcelo & Heinze ( Who is responsible yet again for the goal and getting a red card too )  , now that could pass as he has done it over and over again but the true shocker was in the midfield . The Dutchman started with  Gago, Guti and Javi Garcia , this got to be one of the weakest midfields in Europe plus why the hell would you start with Guti as an anchorman ( which he isn't ) and Javi Garcia who is clearly not good enough to even play in the Castilla .  Schuster made once more a weird decision putting an attacking midfielder , V.Dar Vaart in place for Saviola who is clearly a better candidate upfront .. I just cant bloody understand what is it between Bernd and Saviola . Ghost of Raul also started with Higuain who was marked carefully and was possibly best of the worst .  

 The game was atrocious on its own account the players were over run by Valladolid fast , one-two movements and organized plays . No communication between Real's players allowed them to take over mid of the field and allowed alot of pressure and obvious chances . Cannavaro took over the defence  but there is  not much one man can do when you got disaster Hienze with ya . Gago and Guti failed yet again to impress me as they appeared medicore and was giving the ball away too often , no understanding between the two and  Javi Garcia was no stranger and was very bad at everything .

Raul never really touched the ball save for the clear one on one with keeper which he obviously missed and yes Saviola should have started .. but no Ghost of Raul is better than a player who actually score goals and win matches .I don't blame the form that V.Der Vaart showed with as he is not a striker , he is a free attacking midfielder and play maker .. why would you put him up there . Higuain was unlucky and obviously needs more time to tinker his talent . 

Now , I dont know If Schuster will be replaced but I think Calderon and Pedja who should be replaced and some players on the team .. anyways ,

Terrible news , daily Spanish  newspaper reported within the pages of its website that Real Madrid's Ace player will miss the reminder of the season .   

Ruud van Nistelrooy said goodbye to the season.  The worst predictions have been confirmed and the Dutch striker will be between six and nine months away from the playing fields.the striker underwent an arthroscopy in Colorado in which he confirmed the problems suffered in the meniscus of his right knee, but it was discovered that it also has damaged the anterior cruciate ligament and cartilage of the knee, with the result that the campaign has been finished for him.

 Real Madrid also confirmed the news saying 

Following an exploratory arthroscopic operation on Wednesday, it was determined that Ruud van Nistelrooy had a partially torn meniscus in his right knee. Real Madrid's medical staff, Dr. Steadman and the player decided to surgically repair the damaged knee, by which he will miss between six and nine months.

This is a huge blow to the squad and yet another implication of Calderon's decision to not sign any players last summer . I hope Saviola would be step up for the call and really show his value and cover  Van's absence  .

Real Madrid is in a lot of trouble ,  Diarra joins the sick bay with De La Red Robben , Torres and V.Nistelrooy . 

Diarra has strained his left thigh  as stated by RealMadrid.com  

Following an MRI, it was determined that Mahamadou Diarra has a Grade I strain to his left femoral biceps. The midfielder is expected to return to action in two to three weeks

On another matter , V. Nistelrooy  headed for the US today to undergo examination after suspicion of him injuring his meniscus in his right knee.  V. Nistelrooy joined by a member of the medical staff of the club will see Dr. Steadman , who operated on the striker's right knee in 2000.  There is no doubt in my mind that now Calderon will wake up and act in  January because the team needs so many new players because we could be in the verge of a crises .. Lets just hope for the best ! 

Super Higuain .... Super Higuain

 OK so , you guys have already read Adam's awesome review of the game so I'm not going to talk that much about the game but instead on what lies ahead and the tactical future of the team.

 Bernd Schuster .. What the hell : 

 I was utterly shocked when I saw the tactics that Schuster started the game with . Playing with 1-3-2-4 , Is something I'm against only when facing a much weaker opponent and we have center backs that are reliable and consistant   . 

Schuster started with Casillas  , Ramos , Cannavaro, Heinze and Marcelo in defense, Guti , Gago, Sneijder, Van Der Vaart and Drenthe in midfield, while Higuain in attack.I was thrilled that Raul was benched and Higuain was in place ( he kicked ass ) , Guti I guess should have also been benched but he did a good job after all .  Saviola again did not start ( eventually got in in the 74th min ) and I think its for the best that he leaves the club as its a shame that such a talent goes to waste .

 As I said the tactic might have worked and no goals would have gone in if we have two strong , reliable center backs who does their attacking and defensive duties but we don't , we have Hienze who is responsible for almost one goal per match and really sucks as a center back and should be played as a center defender instead ( What , going for a record Hienze ? )   and Sergio Ramos who clearly have problems with some one in the club and should do some anger management. Cannavaro and Marcelo is on hand none the less and thank god we have them .

 The midfield had the best formation , 2 defensive midfielder ( Although Diarra should have started for either Gago or Guti ) , 3 Midfielders ( It's good to see V.D.V and Wesley playing with each other )  and one super attacker .. none other than the Prodigy Gonzalo . 

 Through out the game we saw an alter-ego of Iker Cassillas .. astonishing decline in form for Spain captain and most of the goals Iker wouldn't have a problem saving in the past . Iker please step up your game we need you .  The Guti , Snjieder and V.D.V was impressive last night although unlucky and I can't wait what the three of them might do in the future .   

 And the best for the last ... Higuain , I cant describe how I felt seeing a favorite player shine as he did last night .. just so deadly from inside the box .. impressive touch and dribbling , the whole package . I think we have a legend on our hands and I hope the useless threesome Calderon - Schuster - Miatojovic keep him in the team and develop him and not do a Robinho case .

  Six Months

Real Madrid Castilla are now unbeaten in Liga Seconda for six months now with the last defeat being in April against Lanzarote 3-1 .  Here's a table of the teams results

 The Squad is Back to Liga Preparation :

 Los Blancos are back into training after the 2-0 loss against Juventus with Robben and Ramos joining Pepe and De la Red in the sickbay . The training featured only players who did not start in yesterday's match except Wesely Snjieder . The training led by Bernd Schuster , focused on technical ability and fitness  . 

 Robben , Ramos are Injured : 

Like 2-0 loss isn't enough , Robben and Ramos where Injured during the match yesterday . Robben injured himself while warming up to be substituted in while Ramos came away with a badly bruised right foot . Get well soon guys ! 

 Update :  

Real Madrid announced on the pages of their website that winger Robben will be out for 6 weeks due to torn in the soleus muscle of his right leg. This certainly a very bad news .. I'm growing more and more nervous ... anyways lets hope he get's back soon .
