Real Madrid just announced that 25 year old Ajax forward will join Real Madrid after they agreed on a speculated 20 mill € deal . Huntelaar was one Real Madrid's shortlist for ever now and its time that we have a signning that seems well thought of ... or is it .
Now what I'm going to say might seem a bit off with some of you but hear me . Huntelaar is an 18 yard box kind of player , the same as V. Nistelrooy . This means that he needs the ball delivered to him so that he can deliver his potential to the fulliest , so naturally he needs good playmakers behind him making that through ball or loop etc. so that he can make the goal . And on papers we have Guti , Van Der Vaart and Snjieder who all can play as creative play makers . But .. given the way Bernd Schuster decides to Play , lets say V.D.V on the wings or as a second forward opposed to playing him behind the forwards being a true playmaker as he used to play and Snjieder who should be a free player , going from one wing to the other and holding up the midfield and distrubting the opposition's defenses , I'm not totally confident that Huntelaar will find it easy to score goals as much as he is used to in Ajax because he is the type of player who waits for the pass to get to him to finish up the play . Real Madrid still needs a complete forward who can go back into the midfield and get the ball from their and create the chance on his own by having great dribbling and flair , an example of this kind of player is Etoo or Henry of Arsenal .
So what I'm saying is if Real Madrid's second signing would be a player like Di Maria for instance who is a very creative player or Bernd starts playing V.DV and Snjieder in their respective places .. I'd say Huntelaar has a very hard job covering V.Nistelrooy because Nistelrooy is a phenomenal player who cant take a half chance to score wonderful goals and does not always require the killer pass to score .
But at least Pedja is working and for the first time he did not go haywire about signing a player to the media .
Thanks for reading my none sense , but do tell what you think .

It's not nonsense, but, given that RVN is out for the season and we really don't have another true centre forward in teh squad, I'd say that Huntelaar is a good signing (as to the price tag, that's another matter...). Also, RVN may have a couple of seasons left in him, so signing a replacement now as understudy is a good idea.
however, this really does not solve the club's more pressing problems with the lack of any real wingers other than Robben (Drenthe is still a bit all over the place) and that Marcelo seems to get more starts than his form/ability would suggest.
Marcelo is the best left back we have. Heinze only has more experience than him and Torres can be our sub in that area. Marcelo only needs alot of playing time to get his level of fitness. Drenthe? am not too sure about him.

I agree ,Huntelaar seems like a good candidate to fill VNR's place now and in the forsaken future .. I'm just not sure Bernd knows how to employ his players to the fullest .
As I stated , Di Maria whose a winger could solve the issue of the wings , he seems like a consistant player and not injury prone as Robben .
We'll see what happens

Drenthe seems to have a problem where he lacks direction . The player seems to have potential , he's fast and sometimes tries to dribble but doenst seem to work . I'f I were at Bernd's place I'd give the guy next season a chance with Castilla or on loan so that he can regain his composure and focus .
The problem with Marcelo and Torres is that they lack on the attacking side , espically torress . I'd look for the coaching staff to enhance their attacking flair before I could say we have a truly world class wingers in Real Madrid

Heinze is a hopeless amateur who should be immediately abandoned!

I wouldnt call him an amateur , just remember how good he was with ManUtd was one of the best in the world . Guarding the Whites back is not as easy
