Hey everyone! Kristen (azzurri16) here for Ultra Sur! It has been a LONG time since I have written here as well. :) Anyway, I found this article and thought that I should post it here since it has been a long time since I wrote a post for this blog. :) So, enjoy. :)
Juande's Post-match presser
Juande Ramos gave his first post-match press conference as Real Madrid's new coach after his team's impressive 3-0 victory over Zenit.
"It is very positive to earn a victory in a match in which the points at stake aren't important. We had already qualified to play in the next round, so we had to win. I am very pleased with
my men's performance. This victory will help boost the team's morale. Every player did his best to make a new impression."
"Every player showcased great spirit; they wanted to play well and to thrill the fans. Every game is different to the rest and we prepared for this one by trying to do things we talked about
beforehand. We are happy with what we did tonight; we shouldn't compare this match with previous clashes. Today's result is all that matters."
"Heinze's injury and Marcelo's suspension will be a problem in defence this weekend and we must find a solution. I experimented by making Metzelder play in the right back position to see if
it could work out."
"It's important for us not to have conceded any goals because Zenit had several chances. We will have to work harder to avoid other teams to have so many chances on our goal as my men grow
more confident."
"I don't pay much attention to what's going on around me when I'm coaching through a match. I concentrate on the game and on finding ways of helping my players. A professional sees a game
differently than a fan. We are focused on our work."
"Every player has different qualities. We have to find the system which best suits our players."
"Iker is Spain's goalkeeper. He is magnificent and his quality is unquestionable. He is one of the best keepers in the world, if not the best. Dudek is also magnificent and tonight was a
perfect game for him to play in. He did very well and I am very happy with him. The goalkeeping position is one that requires confidence and it gives me peace of mind to have two great
keepers on the squad."
"Every substitution, save the first, were designed to give Raúl and Guti some rest. Thirty minutes on the bench will do them a lot of good. Marcelo played as a winger because Metzelder needed
some room to play as a right back. I could have either replaced Marcelo or positioned him further forward and I opted for the latter solution."
"I noticed my men were anxious to completely change the situation they are in. They worked hard and showed me they want to change as fast possible. They will do whatever it takes."
Reaction? I personally think that this was a nice win for Real Madrid and the Juande era. So, what do you all think?

Hello mates ,
The Porteguese press is reporting that the winger Angel Di Maria has already sealed a deal with Real Madrid for 24 Million €.The very talented player has been amid huge speculation since the start of December with a move to the White's and Juande Ramos looks like he's putting the player on his shortlist.
Didier Zokora , the Totenham defensive Midfielder is also speculated to be one of the players to join the ranks of Real Madrid this winter . Ramos stated that Didier is one of the players that he works best with and he would act as the perfect player to cover Diarra's abscense .
On another matter , Real Madrid showed class yesterday winning 3-0 against Zeint . The game is the first under management of Juande Ramos ( If you want more information about the game , read the awesome review written by my friend Adam Bader ). The team showed consistancy and order, every player looked on his role with determination which is always good . But .. we should not jump into conclusion on weither Juande Ramos is the best man for the job, because it just too early and he could not possibly had an impact on the team from one game other that the players want to impress their new manager to secure a position on the line up.
Well , that's all for today . See you guys soon !

Hello Madridismo ,
Quite an interesting 5 days, Huntelaar signs a deal with us , lose a game we almost win ( like that's anything new ) , Bernd Schuster resigned (or sacked, you choose) and last but not least Juande Ramos gets the hot seat just one day before the match against Zenit in the champions league and 4 days El Classico !!! . Its like a plot from a cheesy mexican soap opera.
Gonzie Turns 21 :
Remember that Arge-French guy that came 3 years ago ? Back then Gonzalo Higuain seemed to show alot of potential, but never really took the chances to shine. Yet now Gonzie Higuain (today turning 21 years of age ) , the Argentinian forward who is now Real Madrid top goal scorer with 10 goals and one of today's most anticipated young players in the world .
According to a poll started on RealMadrid.com , Gonzie is the most promising foreigner on the team under 23 years old with a 45% of the votes (5,112 of a total 11,360), Gonzalo (My Fav Player Of All Time ) seems to shine with confidence , drive and talent when ever he's touching the ball . The lad is now 21 so lets wish Gozie a very happy birthday !
... And The Best News Of The Year Goes TO :
Looks like Ramos is going to replace our own made curse, Valter Di Salvo with a doctor he used to work with during his times in Totenham and Sevilla . This got to be the best news I've ever heard this season , Valter "The Butcher" scored 25 injuries to the team since the start of the season and managed to rule out Van Nistelrooy and Diarra for the rest of the season, he couldn't touch Raul or Hienze so he touched one of the best players we have . Anyways , I hope we could see this guy out of the office because I feel he's responsible for the distress we are in at the moment .
That's All , Folks

A rather huge news was reported from the ranks of the Real Madrid. Bernd Schuster, the german coach was sacked by the administration of the club after spending a year and a half as the manager of Los Blancos . Juande Ramos is the man for the job !
December 9th 2008, One very stupid comment from Bernd Schuster and bam ,he's not the manager of Real Madrid anymore . Apperantly Schuster was very stupid when he said that the team has no chance in winning against Barcelona next Saturday .. and add to that the amazing defeat against sevilla just two days a go .
Normally I'd be happy with Juande Ramos taking the job as head coach, but when it comes as a way to cover the administration mistakes throughtout the year then ... a clear cut NO !!!!. Bernd, as tactically ignorant he might be, he was never given the full support nor the confidence to achive anything, " The Mafia" consisting of Calderon and Pedja seems more aware of the chair under their asses rather than the greater good of the club. You sack a the manager now .. now!?, even if the man sucks so much sacking an hiring a new manager every fucking year is not a good idea, we are currently setting a record with how many manager taking over our club within the last 5 years. I doubt Juande Ramos would save this year ( Like schuster would have done anyway) taking in account him having no knowledge of the players or have any in that matter.
As I said before, It's gonna be hell of a season and be ready for the ride Madridismo , your gonna love it ! .

Morning Madridismo ,
It's thursday, December 4th & there has been a few interesting goings in the household of Real Madrid . Lets get into details , shall we :
Former Castilla Manager Michel Fires At Calderon :
Yesterday , Michel the former Real Madrid player and Castilla coach has resigned from his job . Michel did an interview with Cadena Ser declaring his reasons for leaving the ranks of Real Madrid .
Michel said that the public and continued critsism and obvious ignorance from Ramon Calderon when it comes to the younger teams at Real Madrid was the reasons that he left Real Madrid . Michel even said that the president of Real Madrid did not even show up to the annual photoshoot with the Castilla players & had to be "photoshoped" . Michel continued by saying that he was sad to leave Real Madrid .
Benzema Declares His love for Real Madrid :
French explosive forward , Benzema said to the press that he would love to play for Real Madrid in the future adding that they are a iconic team and the best in the world . Benzema added that he is a fan of the team since the start ! . Well , that might be Calderon's chance to snap the talented player .. !
Valencia's David Silva Wanted By Los Blancos:
Valencia financial status is not very good at the moment and the press reported that the Spanish club might sell his star players to pay for their debt which is reportedly 150€ Mill. This has stirred speculation that the White Giant might be tempted to snap David Silva the very awesome Winger from Valencia . Silva would be the perfect man to sign because he would be able to play at once due to him not playing more that 5 games for his team this season . I doubt though Valencia would sell such an important young player at least at the winter period .
That's all for today , see ya guys soon !
Wednesday, 03 December 08, 10:32 AM
Former Real Madrid player and coach of the Real Madrid Castilla team has apperantly resigned from his duties after speculated disagreements with the managemenet of the club over his coaching style .
As Reported . This is one of the many signs that there is something terribly wrong at Real Madrid , the most significant since the management critisied Di Salvo ( The fitness Coach ) over the number of injuries on the team . There is still no conformation from the club nor Michel , but stay tuned for updates !Jose Miguel Gonzalez Martin del Campo "Michel" has ceased to exercise the duties of director of the ranks of Real Madrid because of disagreements with the management of sports.
Tuesday, 02 December 08, 04:30 PM
Real Madrid just announced that 25 year old Ajax forward will join Real Madrid after they agreed on a speculated 20 mill € deal . Huntelaar was one Real Madrid's shortlist for ever now and its time that we have a signning that seems well thought of ... or is it .
Now what I'm going to say might seem a bit off with some of you but hear me . Huntelaar is an 18 yard box kind of player , the same as V. Nistelrooy . This means that he needs the ball delivered to him so that he can deliver his potential to the fulliest , so naturally he needs good playmakers behind him making that through ball or loop etc. so that he can make the goal . And on papers we have Guti , Van Der Vaart and Snjieder who all can play as creative play makers . But .. given the way Bernd Schuster decides to Play , lets say V.D.V on the wings or as a second forward opposed to playing him behind the forwards being a true playmaker as he used to play and Snjieder who should be a free player , going from one wing to the other and holding up the midfield and distrubting the opposition's defenses , I'm not totally confident that Huntelaar will find it easy to score goals as much as he is used to in Ajax because he is the type of player who waits for the pass to get to him to finish up the play . Real Madrid still needs a complete forward who can go back into the midfield and get the ball from their and create the chance on his own by having great dribbling and flair , an example of this kind of player is Etoo or Henry of Arsenal .
So what I'm saying is if Real Madrid's second signing would be a player like Di Maria for instance who is a very creative player or Bernd starts playing V.DV and Snjieder in their respective places .. I'd say Huntelaar has a very hard job covering V.Nistelrooy because Nistelrooy is a phenomenal player who cant take a half chance to score wonderful goals and does not always require the killer pass to score .
But at least Pedja is working and for the first time he did not go haywire about signing a player to the media .
Thanks for reading my none sense , but do tell what you think .
PS: sorry for not posting as much

I'm writing with great sorrow in my heart , my hands moved by feelings of extreme frustration and despair , now after you read this you wonder If I have the right to call my self an Ultra-Sur but enough is enough .. I can take no more ... all I'm going to say is , Real is :
1. Real Madrid is bigger than Miatjovic , a talented player but
a failure of a sporting manager . He lacks the
vision to build a team capable of being the best in the world , he lack the tactical maturity to lead a world elite team , he lacks the ability to bring match winning players to the club
.
2. Real Madrid is bigger than Calderon , who wanted " Entertainment rather than results" and fired Capello , well were not entertained nor do we see results . Calderon's obsession to bring players who clearly have no intention to leave .. so we a team who were
supposed to fight on 3 fronts wasted the transfer period without getting new blood .. and yes we saw today how complete Real is
3- Real Madrid is bigger than Raul , I love you raul , captain .. but please for the love that I have for you .. leave us be .. your making a fool out of yourself and costing us a lot .. please respect the great club your playing with and leave .. respect the
people who respect you ... LEAVE
* Schuster ... I believe in you .. I do . I don't blame today's shameful performance on you because your requirements haven't been met by Miatjovic .. I'm
still behind you .. *
Please forgive me for not being optimistic .. because I care too much to lie to myself

Cadena COPE Radio station has continued its attack on Ramon Calderon our Chairman of the board , Commander in chief , leader and mentor .They first started the controversy when they accused Real Madrid' Ramon Calderon of misusing a club's credit card for personal uses and they also published personal accounts belonging to the boss's daughter . After then Ramon called for a press conference and showed clear evidence that these accusation is false and said that the police where being involved in the matter and a ratification was called.
Cadena COPE disgarded all of this and even boldly made a poll about the whole situation which is in my opinion a clear attack on a respected man and institution and I must also say that they are a disgrace to journalists everywhere . I hope they learn soon the consequences of their action and Ramon , buddy you must know that we are behind you all the way ! HALA MADRID
