Any Arsenal fans who saw the BBC's Messiah programme yesterday will know that its depiction of armagedon was wholely inaccurate. They needed only wait a day, however for the world to actually end and the impossible to come about.
Some things about he match stayed the same however. An anti-Arsenal ITV commentator is hardly anything new and there was a young striker throwing a wobbly because he has just realised that hes not as good as he thought he was. Bendtner will be signing for chelsea next. Incedently I thought that the Danes performance today was one of the worst I have ever seen in an Arsenal shirt and he still managed to hit the bar with an overhead kick!
All five of the Spurs goals were long ball over the top of a defence that looked like they couldn't care less. The best goal of the game was the beauty by Adebayor. Lee Young Pyo should be absolutely disgusted with himself for his shameless play acting to try and get Adebayor sent off.
What this game established is that a full strength Tottenham side at home can beat half of the Arsenal first team when their not trying, in a competition that not even Reading take seriously. Thank You and good night.
