Well the match between home country Venezuela, hoping to make history with a move into the semifinals, and La Celeste, is now over. And history was made, as Uruguay a country of 3 million continues
it's dominance over latin america in the Copa America tournament of which has appeared the most times and has the most cups along with argentina a country much larger in population and size. yet
Uruguay continues to be ignored, under rated and disrespected. Well like always Uruguay has had to bust someone's ass to prove they are and always will be the keepers of el aguante charrua.
Unfortunately for the venezolanos it was a 4-1 thrashing which will most likely thrust the charruas into an epic battle with long time rivals Brazil. We haven't always had the best times, but
all must show respect to this great footballing country who gave us the maracanazo, who hosted the first world cup and won it. And the only nation two win two world cups against Argentina and
Brazil. When you understand and respect Uruguayan football then you can truly be a historian and follower of this great sport, until then your only a hater!
