That chant was never sung with more gusto than in the Parken Stadium in 1994 when we somehow managed to beat a (much) more talented Parma side in the Cup Winners Cup Final. In those days our back four was able to drag us through games by keeping a clean sheet and that man Wright popping up with a winner.
That's not quite the situation now but 2 league wins on the trot with similar score lines has given us a semblance of a chance of making something out of this season. Strangely the result yesterday has put more pressure on Chelsea and they are now only one point ahead of Villa (4 ahead of us) and we have the striker-less Everton close on our heels - it could be construed as exciting if it wasn't for our own expectation levels.
