With only a few days left in the TW I'm sure it won't be long before the blogs start bemoaning our complete lack of activity in window. I think we all have our own views on where we need to strengthen and for most of the sane fans it hasn't really changed since August. Whether anything happens, of course, is out of our hands and so I'll stick resolutely to try and act with indifference over the whole rumour creation process that is the TW.

However, it does seem that we have missed a trick as our lowly neighbours seem to have sussed out the transfer system. You sell players because you don't want them, lose a few games, chnage your manager and then realise you should never have sold those players so you buy them back for more money than you sold them.

I know it's a completely insane system but if we were to adopt this approach would there be any old boys we would grab with both hands. There has been talk of Matthew Upson being in Arsene's thoughts though strangely I haven't seen any rumours on Jermaine Pennant (though obviously Real Madrid & Milan wanted him!(this is a spoof article isn't it)!!) or, even better, our fastest ever red card victim, Jason Crowe..

Spurs meanwhile should maybe try and get Sol back, I'm sure he be welcomed back with open arms like other players....
