End of Mid-Season Transfers

Thursday, 29 January 09, 10:24 PM

I've not written for some time, and I apologize for the delay of a post on this amazing, amusing transfer season. If you look in the Premier League, you will see that every team makes some kind of change to their club in the Summer Transfer Market; it could be 1 or 2 players, or it could be 8 or 9. But sometimes you see teams that don't make any kind of changes in their squad in the Winter short Transfer Market. One of those teams is Arsenal. There are also teams (in both transfer periods) that are expected to buy a big player or lots of them, and eventually cannot live up to those high expectations. I am talking about Manchester City. And last but not least, there are teams that are not expected to buy(a lot or at all), and end up putting out some high bids. This time I am talking about Totenham.

These last few weeks have had lots of drama, though it has not really came from Man City buying wise, but the Eastland side did make a lot of negotiations; that's for sure. At this point, I don't see Manchester City getting to the top 5, though Bellamy and De Jong will hopely make an impact with Wayne Bridge. Of course, we're not done yet, and they'll probably be lining up a couple huge bids before the end. Bellamy has already scored a goal for his club, scoring the 2nd against Newcastle United.

If you saw the recent Premier League games, on Tuesday and Wednesday, you probably saw that that there were some new players who scored for their clubs: Bellamy for Man City, Heskey for Aston Villa, Defoe for Totenham, Beatie for Stoke, Mido for Wigan. I mean that's quite a few to score on their first games or their debut.

Heskey: Well, he's juts a really really good player. For me, he's amazing. people sometimes make reamarks of his lack of scoring, but it took 21 minutes to score for Villa agaisnt Pompey, which happened to be the game winner.

Defoe: I really like this guy! 9 goals, already 2 with his new club Totenham, well not really "new" club, lol, but nice going Jermaine! I mean, he started off against Wigan, and actually did a pretty horrible performance, but otherwise, he's been great right now.

Jones: Some rumours that he will trade with Bent, Bent going to Sunderland while Kenwye goes to Hotspurs, but with his winner against Fulham, I think he's staying at the Stadium of Light.

Mido: Middlesbrought fans; He was not scorin for you guys but he has scored a goal, yes; only a penalty, but it shows that Wigan are really up for the fight for a UEFA cup spot. A tie against Wigan, almost a win! New South American Midfielder Rodallega hit the crossbar in the final mins of play. Raph Benitez told Wigan that they were crazy. What would he have said if his Merseyside had lost?

Beetie; this man has been on many Red and White teams, Sheffield and stoke, and some other teams. Maybe he's going to Sunderland next. We'll have to see. But he scored against Totenham. Of course, it didnt mean to much except for a Concolation goal against a side that was 3 up, but it just shows that he might be one of the ones that help Stoke get out of the relegation.

King: I'm talking about Marlon King, here. Well, Hull City started the season off extremely well for a newly promoted team. King was one of the people who lead this team. before he was traded, he had some arguments which probably affected his future with Hull. Now he's with Boro and has a lot of work to do.

Keane: Not Roy, the former manager. Robbie, the man who had a "dream move" to Anfield which is not really going to well at the moment. I dont know who's fault it is. Is Robbie not playing well enough in practice? Is Torres playing too well and can only play Lone striker at the moment? Or is Benitez just crazy? I think it's the last one. The spaniard coach is in a tough situation right now. He has just tied his last 4 games, and has made utterly stupid and rude remarks after each of them. Stoke's tie was just a lesson, but two ties at Anfield against Rivals Everton in less than a week, is not a lesson; its sloppy. And also add a Draw against Wigan. People said that Chelsea went into a dark zone for a month or two. Is Chelsea getting back to their form, and is Liverpool trading places? Let's get back to Robbie Keane. Keano okay, you were in the line'up against Wigan, but u didnt play! Benitez took off Gerrard and Torres and didnt put u in!          KEANE LEAVE! Go away from Anfield! Liverpool paid 20 mil for you and it seems like you're worth 2 mil, becuasse you  havent played enough! TOTENHAM WILL ACCEPT YOU! AND THEY WILL PUT U ON THEIR MAIN SQUAD!

Well, that's really it. A nice long blog, I'll say. Keane needs to leave Anfield. And we'll see if Arshavin does go to Arsenal, which looks kinda "not going to happen", and we'll see if somebody else will leave Zenit such as Pavel Progrezi watever his name is. Zenit has let one person go, to Blackburn a defender, but only on loan.

Bye!! REMEMBER THIS WEEKEND! LIVERPOOL VS. CHELSEA! WE'LL ALL SEE IF CHELSEA CAN WIN AGAINST A TEAM WITH A CRAZY COACH!
