Brazil Women's National Football Team represents the country of Brazil in all women international matches and competitions. CBF – Confederação Brasileira de Futebol – (Brazilian Football Confederation)is the body that governs the Brazilian Women Football Team.
Brazil Women's National Team has improved tremendously since their first apparition in the 1991 FIFA Women's World Cup when they didn't go through the group stage. Since the 1996 Olympic Games the team has always been among the top four Women's Football Nations of the World.
Brazil Women's National Team won the silver medal in the 2004 Olympic Games after losing the final match to the USA WNT. In 2007 Brazil finish in second place in the FIFA Women's World Cup.
Brazil has some of the most talented women's football players in the world nowadays such as Cristiane, Daniela, Formiga and the one who is considered the best female footballer of the world; Marta.
