Creative Freedom on OleOle

OleOle Freedom of Expression Policy

What makes OleOle successful is your original, unique content – and we want to keep it that way! OleOle’s policy on this is very clear – you have complete freedom on OleOle to express yourself about football in the way you see fit – through blogs, comments, forums and Fan walls. OleOle will never censure, delete, moderate or edit your football content in any way. Period.

OleOle is your publishing partner, and we do everthing we can to make every blogger happy with their experience on the site.

In the future, some blogs will contain text and/or banner advertising. OleOle plans to do this in a tasteful way – it will not be Times Square. Our most viewed bloggers will have influence on how advertising will be displayed across all blogs, and on their specific blog(s). OleOle (and our sponsors and advertisers) won’t change what you write about, how your write it, or what color fonts you use – this is your blog and yours only. As a social media site, we only work with progressive advertisers that understand that we don't / won't control the context of their ads.

Community Feedback
OleOle is a global community comprised of fans with many different views, opinions and ideas – it’s the diversity of the site that makes it so great. Your peers in the community may vote positively or negatively on your posts. Negative votes will affect your user points as well as your order and placement on search pages. In addition, Fans may flag anything that they think is inappropriate by giving it a Yellow Card. OleOle will notify you when this happens, but it is up to you to decide what to do – alienate a fan, or try to improve your popularity.

Copyrighted Materials
OleOle, like all good social media sites, complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DCMA) so if a legitimate copyright holder files an infringement claim with us for text, photos, videos, etc that you have posted, you must remove the infringing material within 24 hours, or we will remove it for you. This is standard operating procedure on the internet today.

Censorship
OleOle is a football website, so if your content doesn’t pertain to football and is illegal, extreme or offensive, we will remove your blog and/or your profile from the site without notice. Feel free to write about your trip to Slough or about your granny’s knitting skills – we can’t say this will attract more readers but it’s no problem with us.

However, OleOle will NOT tolerate: hate mongering or hateful content based on religion, ethnicity, gender age or sexual orientation; pornography, including pedophilia, incest, bestiality and commercial porn; illegal gambling; terrorism or arms dealing; email or link spamming and the transmission of malware or viruses; violent content or direct threats against individuals or groups; private or confidential information (credit card numbers, driver’s license numbers, etc); online sales for commercial profit; and any other similarly illegal or harmful activities.

So, create a blog, write about football, and have fun!
OleOle is your community – treat it with the same respect you’d expect from others.
