Premier League

Barclays Premier League, previously known as the English Premiership (or English Premier League) and abbreviated as the EPL, is roundly considered to be the strongest league in Europe. Having provided at least 3 English clubs to the final stages of the Champions League in the last few years, the Premier League has overtaken the other major European leagues. With the highest amount of TV revenue, transfer fees, and wages of any league in the world, the Premiership is a media enterprise unto itself. World famous clubs like Arsenal FC, Manchester United FC, Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC all play in this league, as do players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrard, Cesc Fabregas and Carlos Tevez.

Dominance of the "Big Four"

The Barclays Premier League has generally been dominated by 4 clubs – Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, although Liverpool are yet to win a title. Since its inception in 1992, Manchester United have won 9 league titles including 2008, with Arsenal on 3, and Chelsea on 2. Blackburn Rovers were the only team to break this stranglehold, winning the league in 1995. The EPL has been criticised for not being as competitive as other leagues – such as Spain or France, where teams that aren't the biggest quite often mount title challenges and cause upsets. Manchester United faced Chelsea in June 2008 to beat them in both the European Champions League final, as well as the Premier League as the overall winner in points and goals.

Premiership Results

The Premiership, now the Premier League, is the the highest division of professional football in England and is sponsored by Barclay's bank. The Premier League is overseen by The FA. This community on OleOle will keep you up to date on everything happening in the EPL- this is right place to interact with other fans, contribute your opinion, and discuss everything from player rumours and transfers to match results! Login and click the orange icons on the widget dock to add widgets to the page. Drag widgets to move them around the page, change the settings on each widget and choose how much league news or information to display. The Premier League's history is important, and you can help write it! You can document major events, seasonal winners, most goals scored, awards, trophies, and competition results on the Premiership history and facts wiki. Write about the league, clubs, rivals, league officials and executives, president and their predecessors.

Barclays Premier League Table

Supporters can find the latest Premiership table to find current Premier League standings, points, wins and goals. The full Premier League table will give you an overview of how each club is doing, their rank in the league, and how many points it will require for them to get into the top position. This section also has Premier League match fixtures and match schedules as well as results from past matches for all the clubs in the league. Fans can discuss news and comment on the wall, read and comment on football blogs, or fans can start and write their own football blog dedicated to football in England. If you’re breaking Premier League news, it might even get selected as a featured blog for everyone to read. Any fan can also browse or upload photos and videos and vote or leave comments.

EPL Live Scores and Results

You’ll find EPL results and live scores here, too. The Scores and Results widget lists all the league’s matches schedule, and you can find past results and club standings. Click through to the OleOle MatchCentre and discuss live matches with other fans in real-time! If you have a blog then YOU can be a match commentator – give other fans the play by play as you see it. Live football scores will keep you updated in real-time, all the time.

Buy Premier League Tickets

English Premier League tickets are always in high demand, especially towards the end of the season when a point or even a single goal can make a difference in league standings. Football tickets are usually hard to find for the final matches of the season for those clubs in contention for the league title. Buy Premier League tickets and travel packages online safely and securely – there’s no better way to support your club than by cheering them on from your seat next to the pitch! what's the latest on wallpapers / photos?

Premier League Fantasy Football

Football fans can test their skills at being a Premiership club manager by playing a Premier League Fantasy Football game. Fantasy football is a fun way to see if you have what it takes to pick a squad of players that will score goals every week – each goal earns points and the more points, the better your team does in the fantasy league table. The most successful Fantasy Football manager of the season can win tickets to English Premier League matches, and every month the best team manager will get their favourite football club’s shirt. OleOle has the best free Fantasy Football game and any supporter can play.
