About the German Bundesliga

The Bundesliga is the top division of German professional football. 18 teams play in the German Fussball-Bundesliga, and the style of play is a good mix of technical and physical football. Although not considered to be one of the most skillful leagues in the world, the playing standards in the Bundesliga is quite high, and the style of football is exciting. Teams from this league generally perform quite well in Europe, and it boasts one of the all-time European great clubs in its ranks – Bayern Munich.

South American stars in the Bundesliga

Over the last decade, the Bundesliga has become a showcase for young South American talent in addition to the ever-present German talent. Spanish teams are limited by the number of non-EU players they can have in a squad, and English teams have strict work permit regulations for which usually only established internationals can qualify. Thus Italy and Germany are the next two biggest leagues with relaxed rules on signing non-EU players. As a result, players such as Lucio, Andres D'Alesandro, Diego, Elber, Martin Demichelis, Emerson, Juan, and Ze Roberto have all made a name for themselves in the German Bundesliga. This German Football League community is for fans of German football on OleOle. It has resources for German club supporters including Bundesliga tables, fixtures, standings, live scores, Bundesliga Fantasy Football and forum.
