Ever since breaking into the first team at Serie C1 side Livorno as a teenager, Giorgio Chiellini's rise to stardom has been meteoric and he is already considered one of the best defenders Italy has produced in recent years despite his relatively young age. The hard-nosed centre back is not only a colossus in defense but he can be just as dangerous on the other end of the field as he is no stranger to scoring a header or two from corners and set-pieces.
