About AC Milan

Associazione Calcio Milan, or AC Milan, hold the unique record of going a whole season undefeated, accomplished in 1991-92. The 58-game streak is a record in the Serie A league and is the third longest unbeaten run in top flight European football. Founded in 1899, the Italian club is coached by Carlo Ancelotti and play out of San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy, which is shared with rivals Inter Milan. Despite being one of the most popular and successful sides, A.C. Milan's history has its share of scandal. In 1980 the club were relegated to Serie B for their involvement in a betting syndicate, and in 2006 the club were punished for a match-fixing scandal with an 8 point deduction, but went on to win the UEFA Champions League that year.

AC Milan holds more international titles than any other club in the world, at 18, and the second most Italian competition titles, at 17. The club won the FIFA Club World Cup a record four times, and are the current title holders. Domestically, AC Milan has won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana five times each. European titles AC Milan hold include the UEFA Champions League in 1963, 1969, 1989, 1990, 1994, 2003 and 2007, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup twice, and the UEFA Super Cup in 1989, 1990, 1994, 2003 and 2007.

AC Milan has an all-star squad of Italian and international players. Some of the most notable players include Alessandro Nesta, Paolo Maldini, young star Alexandre Pato, and the Brazilian legends Ronaldo, Cafu, Emerson and Kaka. The club is home to some of the most influential and famous footballers in the world.
