He retired from the national team at 17 august 2006 He played the first half 45 minutes, then said after the match: "All my football career came in front of my eyes, from the early start, everything I lived through in this team. It was difficult to concentrate on the game, it was more about the emotions. I was always very proud to play in the national team."
