About Luis Figo

Luis Figo is well known throughout the world and is one of the most famous and talented soccer players around. His great technique and the accuracy of his passes have made him one of the world's best midfielders. His stability, strength and talent have helped him receive the Gold Ball in the year 2000 as well as the FIFA World Player, which are the top two individual awards in the world of soccer. Figo has played with FC Barcelona and Real Madrid and he was the captain of the Portugal national football team, which he helped lead to a third place finish in the Euro Cup of 2000 and second place 2004. Portugal also finished fourth place in the World Cup of 2006. Figo is currently playing on the well known club Inter of Milan.
