About Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the main striker for the Inter Milan. His footwork helped him earn the titles of Serie A Foreign Footballer of the Year and Swedish Footballer of the Year. Ibrahimovic has helped transform teams into top contenders. Juventus and Inter both won the Seria A title, due to Ibrahimovic’s leadership abilities. He is married to Helena Seger, and they have a son named Maximilian. Ibrahimovic is also well-known for his short-temper. .

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was born on October 3, 1981 and comes from Bosnian descent, from a father who was born in Bijeljina and mother from Tuzla. He started playing football at a young age for the youth clubs Malmö Anadolu Bl and FBK Balkan, often playing with children that were older then him. .

Ibrahimovic's Football Success

Zlatan Ibrahimovic started playing at the professional level for his home team Malmo FF in 1995, immediately dropped out of high school, and started playing on the senior team in 1999. In 2001 Arsenal tried to sign him, however Ibrahimovic transferred to AFC Ajax for a record of €7.8 million. Ibrahimovic spent three year there before transferring to Juventus in 2004, for a €19 million fee. After Juventus for relegated, Zlatan transferred to Inter Milan on August 26, 2006 in €24.8 million contract. .

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s international career with the Swedish National Team started on January 31st 2001, in a friendly against Faeroe Islands. His first major international competition was the 2002 FIFA World Cup. One of his most impressive matches was against Italy, when he scored a last minute equalizer. Overall Ibrahimovic was scored a total of 18 goals in 49 matches, at this point in his career with the Swedish National Team. He is considered by most football fans to be the top striker on the Swedish National Football Team.
