Funny, a lot of the things you mention in your blog comment I was hoping to use in this weeks' blog entries. (got to save some topics for a slow week!) But as you point out, Alonso would have
been a wonderful addition. Here's the ironic part; if we had acquired Alonso, Fabregas would never have been injured...double blow there.

Arshavin might be our best player at the moment. It's going to be a fight for a place in midfield with Cesc, Nasri, Walcott and Arshavin all healthy. Maybe AA23 can play up front with Ade or RVP.

I'm curious about the midfield too. Wonder who partners Cesc on his return. And does Rosicky really have a starting role anymore? Had to see where. It would be fun to see a five man midfield with
Cesc and Arshavin in the middle with song or denilson holding. (of course we'll probably never see that.)
