More stuff about me

Interests

I'm an older (old?) family guy, but I still need to play my futbol every Sunday. At least the Sundays my joints and muscles are working well enough. Spanish football is my primary source of goodness, but I'll watch any match as long as there's a hint of creativity and flair. Also enjoy reading a wide variety of subjects, both fiction and non-fiction. I coach my son's U9 soccer team with the work's of Horst Wein as my mentor.

Music

classical, folk music around the world, rock in its many forms, and, last but not least, Blues-primarily of the 'delta' persuasion.

Favorite places

Mongolia, Russia, Hawaii, Guam, Spain (not necessarily in that order)

Favorite other sports

baseball
My Blogs
Over 30 years ago, this American came to love the sport by way of Guam. It may have been pivotal that his first coach was a Spaniard with the self-declared moniker of 'Don Pedro'. Since then, the love of tiki-taka and all things La Liga has been foremost. This especially applies to Barça.

Many fans may feel the hard work has all been done after beating Inter Milan two weeks ago. But our visit to the Valeriy Lobanovskiy stadium has rightly been described by Txiki Beguiristain as "our most important game of the season". It is true that we will still qualify for...

Hola, BarcaGirl! Getting settled with the site, and hoping we (Barça) get Hleb. We'll need a good striker too. Would love to see Arshavin at Nou Camp.
