About 2/3 years ago Feyenoord buyed some average players (Greene, Lucius, Buijs etc.), because there was no money for really good players. The financial problems are being solved, but we still
have no fortune, so the average players from previous years need to be sold to buy better talented players.

Giovanni is captain of Feyenoord and one of the most important players, the first half of the season was going great, Feyenoord became winter-champion. But due injuries Feyenoord lost too much
games. Feyenoord ended 6th, but we still got an UEFA-cup ticket, because we won the Dutch Cup (take a look in my photoalbum to see Gio with the Cup!). Gio scored 8 goals this season, and was
definetely not the cause of the dissapointing 6th place.
