About Me: I am a soccer nut (I try to use the term soccer since I live in the US, sometimes I slip up and say football and it just confuses all my friends.) I played a little as a kid, but I didn't become a fan until World Cup '98. I happened to be in England during the event, and to see how the entire country shut down and watched their team play was amazing. However, it was not until World Cup '06 that I was really able to get into soccer and sink my teeth into it. Since that point soccer has been much more accessible in the US, with many EPL, FA Cup, Serie A, La Liga, MLS, Champions League, and other fixtures being televised.
