  • Wolves 1-4 Arsenal : Good fortune comes with good form

    about 11 hours ago | 1182 Comments

It's funny how when you're playing well and in good form you find things going your way, little bits of luck that can help decide a game. I think it's fair to say we got a bit of that yesterday against Wolves. You certainly wouldn't have put too much money on the final scoreline after the first...

  • Wolves preview + Saturday round-up

    1 day ago | 2169 Comments

Good Saturday to you all. Here is the news. It looks like Manuel Almunia is back in pole position. Or, he would be if Arsenal was a Forumula 1 team and he'd just come fastest in qualifying, but you know what I mean. A mixture of a chest infection, family tragedy and just plain old poor form...

We all have our off days. Unfortunately Tim's had an off half of his carear. I'm not saying he's an angel but compared to Andrew Murray... My Grandad worked at the school his wife went too (Tim's)and said she was a really nice girl so thats how I started supporting him. That and the fact that at the time there wasn't another British player in the top 500 (Greg Rudzetski doesn't count).

i once met tim henman in mumbai when he was ranked outside the top 1,000 probably, and his levels of arrogance and unpleasantness were shocking. fortunately for him he's managed to improve his tennis a bit, so his attitude has something to fall back on, but still a little bit.

United are going to kick off in a couple of hours and as a perrenial Man United hater I would like to say that their performance against Roma was absolutely amazin'. However I recon their going to go into the Milan tie and be limper than a wet noodle. I can just see all the wonderful (and quite justified) praise boosting them up so high that they get altitude sickness and lose to a team that, frankly should not have let near European competion this season.Think Argentina at the World Cup. Having annihalated Serbia and Montenegro in one of the most stylish wins there has ever been at a World Cup they then preceded to limp past Mexico in one of the most boring matches I have ever seen before crashing out to Germany on Penalties. And lets be honest, any idiots can do that.

P.S. I'm going to look such a prat when United win 6-0 Lucky no ones going to read this
