Atletico are based in Madrid and arch rivals to Real Madrid. They are a real contender for top fourth place this year and who knows, they may be able to dent Barca and Real Madrid's run. They're also in Champions League this year and will face Liverpool.

Club History

Atletico have won La Liga and Copa Del Rey nine times, and did the double in 1996. European cup winner cup in 1962. In the 1970's they were known as Los Indios, the indians, because they bought several players from South America.
