The Swedish National Football Team represents the country of Sweden in international competitions, and is controlled by the Swedish Football Federation. Also known as the Blueyellow, the Swedish National Football Team has been improving constantly since the year 2000. The team left the 2002 World Cup after being defeated by Senegal in Round 16. However, in the 2004 Euro, they finished first of their group, in front of Denmark and Italy. Stars such as Zlatan Ibrahimović and Anders Svensson and currently competing for the Swedish National Team in the Euro 2008. Historically Sweden was one of the best teams in the world especially in the 50s, when they finishing Runner-Up of the 1958 World Cup. Legendy strikers Gunnar Gren and Kenneth Anderson once put on the Swedish National Team's uniform. Sweden's football team has been arch rivals with Denmark's national football team ever since 1913. The team plays a major of it's matches at Råsunda Fotbollsstadion, at Stockholm.
