FC Basel, the hometeam of Basel (or Basle) is a storied club in Switzerland. Football Club Basel has a very successful record, and won the 2007/2008 Swiss Cup and Swiss Super League. The club has founded in 1893 and has won the Swiss Super League a total of 12 times.
FC Basel's team crest is a 3 color shield, the half red and the half blue and with gold detailing. The letters FCB are printed in gold in the centre of the shield for Fussballclub Basel. Interestingly, the club's shirts have the crest directly in the centre instead of on the breast.
