Tobin's given name is Tobin Powell Heath. She was born May 29, 1988 in Morristown, New Jersey. Tobin is a 5 foot 6 midfielder. She has 1 younger brother and 2 older sisters. Heath is a member of the US Women's National Team and the University of North Carolina. She graduated from Basking Ridge High School in 2006 where was a Parade All-American. She was apart of the UNC team when they won the 2006 and 2009 NCAA Championship. She played on many US Youth teams before playing for the senior team. Her debut on the senior team was on January 18, 2008 against Finland. She already has a gold medal to her name. Interesting fact: 1. on Tobin's first touch on her senior team debut game against Finland she nut-megged one of Finland's players 2. learned to surf with Abby Wambach 3. Voted "Best Tan" by her u20 team mates 4. talented tennis player
