Premiership resumes at last

10:22 PM, Monday, 08 September 2008

Played 3, then a gap. For a Manchester United fan it's played 2 then a gap. There was that UEFA Super Cup on the Tv. Bit of a disappointment butnow forgotten. So to catch some live football, the stuff with fans and players I ventured into the FA Cup. You get looks of... Posted by lorenzo23 · Comments (0) Topics: Manchester United,The FA Cup 2008

A gamble too far....

06:13 PM, Tuesday, 02 September 2008

Well the transfer window closed last night at midnight, there were many shocks going on throughout the day, this was also fuelled by the sensationalism provided by SkySports News but hey it added to the fun...So I went to bed shortly before midnight feeling like a young boy at xmas, any Arsenal... Back in the Groove at the Grove, Champions League, Transfer deadline

12:56 PM, Sunday, 31 August 2008

So this week saw the visit of two ex-England managers to The New Home of Football, and we all know there was only going to be one winner, Wenger. McCalren's FC Twente lacked an ounce of ambition, whilst Keegan's Toon side were dismantled by an Arsenal team in full flow. The 4-0 win against Twente... Worrying signs...

05:35 PM, Tuesday, 26 August 2008

Well I was fortunately at a festival this weekend so missed the so called 'abysmal' performance we displayed on Saturday at Craven Cottage. From what I have read we lacked creativity, lacked drive, and our normally consistent players put in a poor show.I am not going to try and analyse the game... I told you so...

07:28 PM, Thursday, 21 August 2008

Well I hate to say it... but I told you so. Silvestre has joined Arsenal, Wenger still wants one more signing, and it has opened the door for a loan spell...So starting with the latter its some very good news, Armand Traore has joined Portsmouth on loan for the season. Harry and Tony will look... Mikael Silvestre - a good signing should it happen

08:27 PM, Wednesday, 20 August 2008

So reports in this mornings papers suggest that we could be on the verge on hijacking Silvestre's proposed move across Manchester to Eastlands, and reports from Myles Palmer (bit of a twat) even go as far as to confirm tat he was seen both at Highbury House this morning, and at the training... 1 nil to the Arsenal...

07:45 PM, Sunday, 17 August 2008

Well like some other Gooners I'm sure I was feeling a little nervous coming into this game missing 9 players from our squad. There was to be no underestimating the importance of a good start to the season. If we want to forge a title challenging season then we really need to hit the ground... So the new season begins....

09:03 AM, Saturday, 16 August 2008

and I hold more optimism at the start of this season, than I did at the start of last season. Then again I didn't foresee the team transformation in the wake of Henry's departure, it really did allow us to vary our style of play and ultimately to become less predictable not always looking to... Sleeping Giant...Wakey Wakey!

11:28 PM, Tuesday, 12 August 2008

After years of living in the shadows. Licking our paws after another miserable premier league season where we've dropped out of the title race before our christmas presents have arrived, it's about time Liverpool step up and show the class and talent we've so sadly hidden for too ... The new season approaches... but what happened this summer?

07:32 PM, Monday, 11 August 2008

Just a few days until our season starts with the Champions League qualifier against McLaren’s men, FC Twente. Most of the team you would think picks itself, if injury free, with just the central midfield position next to Cesc still a major talking point amongst fans. But another position which ma...
