ARGENTINA 3 x 3 MEXICO .:. The Champions Classical Concert .:.

Tonight I'm not gonna post a match report. I'm sure most of you already know how the game went, But I wanna start a discussion on "why Argentina won that game and why Mexico lost it". The first answer is the obvious one: Argentina scored goals. Mexico didn't. But football (I... The first half went as planed, actually the best Argentinian half of the Copa. And the cherry was the amazing goal. Mexico is probably the strongest team of the tournament other then Argentina, concentrated mainly on committing annoying fouls and going for dangerous counter attacks here and... Albi Versus Tri, Who could it be?
12:01 AM, Thursday, 12 July 2007
Messi y Tevez will be the difference. Tevez has been solid for Argentina and Messi is always a major threat with his electric play. He may be the best midfielder in the game. If he doesn't put away for the Argentines then his pass to Tevez for the goal will. On the Mexican side of things, el... Mexico on the Verge of Greatness!!
05:26 PM, Wednesday, 11 July 2007
Hugo Sanchez and “El Tri” will have their hands full tonight in the much anticipated game against Argentina. Like many other individuals I questioned the work of “Hugol” stemming from the soccer display, or lack there of, in the Copa Oro. I was fortunate enough to witness the game agains... Copa América Prediction: Argentina will narrowly beat Mexico
02:42 PM, Wednesday, 11 July 2007
**This is a prediction, not a match report! As of this writing this game has NOT occurred yet.** A rematch of one of the hardest fought games of the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany, Mexico will be looking to get the best of a slightly altered Argentine team who, under new leadership of... Do Mexico want to win more than Argentina?
06:10 AM, Wednesday, 11 July 2007
Let me state for the record that I am a lifelong fan of the Argentine brand of football. It is my standing definition of the beautiful game - sly one touch passing, total team effort. Anyone can score, but the goal belongs to the team. It was just over one year ago that Mexico outplayed... Uruguay hint at return to regional power status
05:11 AM, Wednesday, 11 July 2007
Uruguay's game versus Brasil this evening in Maracaibo, Venezuela, showed that they are capable with hanging with one of the world's best. Or at least one of the world's best's second team. Nevertheless, Uruguay's decidedly sud americana style of play with one touch passing and total... Yes, Brazil got to the finales, but in the Dunga way, the ugly way. Argentina has a good chance tomorrow, Vs. Mexico. The three J's: Juan Riquelme, Javier Zanetti, and Juan Veron are the skelaton and Messi, Tevez, and the rest provide the fine tuning to this surprising team. There is a... Uruguay or Brazil ? Argentina or Mexico ? I have to say, if you'd ask me to bet, I wouldn't know which team to put my money on. Stupidley, or blindly, I'd say Brazil and Argentina...but something's telling me it's not gonna be so obvious. So for fun, I went online to read some articles... URUGUAY - BRAZIL - MEXICO - ARGENTINA
06:31 AM, Tuesday, 10 July 2007
URUGUAY Although Uruguay collects 14 Copa America titles, the team has been a big disappointment since their last continental trophy in 1995 when they hosted Copa America. The nation also failed to qualify for the last World Cup. Of course this is a reflex of the poor performance...
