03:34 PM, Tuesday, 13 May 2008
So once again Mr. Sepp Blatter wants to control the number of foreign players in the european teams. Great idea but very much improbable that will be approved by the UEFA members. And that's about it. But I decided to write (and read your opinions) about... Posted by manogil · Comments (26) Topics: Off The Field,UEFA,FIFA,Manchester United,Liverpool,Chelsea,Arsenal,Inter

At 21 Years old, I reckon I've been watching the Gunners play for thirteen years. During that time we've had significantly more success than failure, and some excellent games that have been a joy to watch. I present to you now, from the depths of my memory, Arsenal's 10 best per... The Barclays Premier League enjoys a growing reputation within Pakistan. The last five years have seen an amazing increase in the popularity of football and the consequent rise in the number of amateur football clubs. This infatuation can be attributed to the easy availability of bot... Posted by nabeeljafri · Comments (0) Topics: Premiership,Arsenal,Manchester United,Chelsea,Liverpool,Pakistan

I thought it would be nice to translate diego's blogs into English. Though I'm not very good at German, I think I can atleast convey the meaning ;) I obviously can't translate word to word. I'll try my best. Original Post: Ich sage: Manchester gewinnt die... Posted by harith · Comments (0) Topics: Champions League 2008,Manchester United,Chelsea,Diego
Premier League managers and their playing days
11:57 PM, Thursday, 08 May 2008
Most managers have always been drawn from the ranks of ex-players. This is logical, as years spent playing the game are bound create a tactical knowledge of training and tactics that goes beyond anything learnt either playing with your mates or sitting in an armchair watch... I used this post title after the final in Athens but I think that it's more appropriate now after losing at Stamford Bridge. We gave it everything but came up short. We were rubbish in the first half but better in the second. Chelsea deserved it over 120 mins but over the two legs we... This had the feeling of end of season fare from us, It was another case of giving the B team a run out. Therefore I'm not going to waste too much time posting about it. The few notable points were the comeback, Pennant and Insua. To be 2 goals down with 30 mins to go and to fight back for a... As Unlucky Alf in the fast show would say, "oh bugger". What should have been 2-0 or 3-0 but was 1-0 became 1-1 with the last kick of the game. I'm sure Riise didn't mean it, but if only he had a right foot, he would have been able to lash it clear rather than head it into his... Sometimes second gear is all you need. It was all we needed against Fulham on Saturday. If ever there was a championship team in waiting, Fulham is it. We were able to rest a god few of the first team and we still got a 2-0 win away from home. But the credit here has to go down to...
