Chivas USA Club Overview
Since founded as an MLS expansion team in 2005, Chivas USA has twice reached the Western Conference Semifinals in the MLS. The club has also earned many awards including 2006 Rookie of the Year (Jonathan Bornstein), 2007 Goalkeeper of the Year (Brad Guzan) and 2007 Coach of the Year (Preki).
Chivas USA is based in Carson, California and is owned by Mexican businessmen Jorge Vergára Madrigal, who also owns Club Deportivo Guadalajara, and his business partner Antonio Cué Sánchez-Navarro, who serves as Chivas USA's president.

The Home Depot Center is the home stadium of Chivas USA. It is located in Carson, California, in Los Angeles county. The 27,000-seat stadium was built and is operated by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), The Home Depot Center is also an official U.S Olympic Training Site and the home to the LA Galaxy.
