Alonso is definitly better and i would prefer him as well and there's still hope on him maybe slivestre was bought 2 give the defence more experience and wenger still has one more signin in

So you think he will play as a midfielder instead of back up defender? He was cheap though so I dont see anything wrong with the signing. I'm still holding out hope for Alonso.
