Camp Nou Stadium Overview
Camp Nou is the home of Barcelona FC, and is the third largest football stadium in the World after the stadiums in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Mexico City. Camp Nou has a capacity of an amazing 110,000 people and on every match practically every seat is taken.
Camp Nou History
Barcelona's Camp Nou is scheduled to be rennovated by the renowned British arcitect Norman Foster. The improvements are planned to establish Camp Nou as a European architectural landmark.
The whole Camp Nou stadium will be contained within a clearly defined space with a unified outward appearance additional spaces and facilities will be fully integrated, both functionally and visually.
Construction is expected to start in 2009 and should be finished by 2012. Once the work has completed, fans will be part of a refurbished arena with a unique, encompassing image of FC Barcelona completely integrated within the city's heritage.
A truly remarkable Camp Nou stadium will be visible from the street, with a multicoloured roof of glass and polycarbonate, forming a mosaic inspired by Gaudi's famous architecture. The interior will also be modernised, with roomy service areas and electric escalators carrying Barcelona fans to the upper seating.

Opening hours: 10:00 - 20:00 (Mon to Sat); Sun and Bank holidays (10:00-14:30)
Admission: 8.50 Euros for entry to museum and 13 Euros for a guided tour.
